The Vineyard
The day began in a small West Country church—stone walls, simple florals, hymn books in the pews—then a short journey took us to a nearby vineyard with weathered farm buildings. We kept to a muted, natural palette—soft neutrals and texture over colour—letting vines, timber and linen do the styling so everything felt grounded.
Our approach was documentary and low-key: natural light, gentle cues only when needed, and room for the day to breathe. We focused on honest details— the mother and son relationship; the first pour of the vineyard’s own wine—then slipped between the rows at golden hour for calm portraits. Group frames against the barn doors round it out: rustic, traditional, and quietly refined.
